Subway (on Central)

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that I ate at Subway today.  However, I feel like I cheated on my usual Subway, the restaurant that gave me a free cookie last week because the owner has seen me there on many occasions.  The Subway I ate at today was on the other side of my apartment and let me tell you, it was great.

I began judging from the moment I walked in, telling myself it wasn’t as great as my usual joint.  The seating was inadequate, there was a strong scent of onion and the woman wasn’t as friendly as my other location.  But once she pulled the beautifully, full loaf of Italian herb and cheese bread out of the oven, my opinion began to shift.  She loaded on the lettuce and black olives and toasted the bread beautifully. 

And they have Cherry Coke. I mean, that’s a sign.

A sign hung above the register stating that they have a frequent buyer reward program, I may have to become a member.
